In the centre of town is the Quinninup Tavern, renowned for its laid back atmosphere and friendly service in a truly “old country pub” style. Quinninup Township

Quinninup was once a mill town and the Tavern was the “Worker’s Club”. Since the mill closed, the town and district has undergone many transitions and has now become a central location to all the varied attractions the South West has to offer. You can check out all the information about Quinninup on the town website http://www.quinninup.net.au

Karri Lake was built around 1989 and the consequent sale of blocks around the lake brought a whole new community to Quinninup. Every year there are more houses being constructed and more people moving to our unique little town.

“Great little find”

Staying in Pemberton over Easter we went to Quinninup to check out the caravan park for our next visit down south. The caretaker suggested to also check out the Tavern as he said they serve up delicious food. From the outside it is a very quaint looking country pub with a great outdoor area. As it was raining we went inside and found it very welcoming. It was very old but that just added to the charm. We wanted to have lunch there to support the business and it ended up to be a very pleasing experience. The food and hospitality was awesome and recommend all to make the bypass into Quinninup to experience it first hand next time you travel down south. You will not be disappointed!
